The Clay County Republican Central Committee is excited and honored to be hosting our annual Lincoln-Reagan-Trump Day Dinner at the Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs on Friday, June 6, 2025.
This event is our opportunity to raise funds for our county party operations and Republican Candidate support. This past year we were able to take advantage of our returning President Donald Trump and apply new strategies used at our Headquarters and Festivals. We were able to raise money to support our eight Republican Candidates for State Senate and State Representatives with a total donation of $15,000. We assisted these candidates with door-to-door literature throughout the county, placing their signs throughout the county and polling places, volunteering as voting poll challengers & watchers, and standing at the polls for these candidates.
The next 4 years, we need to take advantage of the opportunity to move and maintain the principles, goals, and values of the people of the Republican Party and keep the majority control with our Republican leaders. We are in a battle and our party is determined to change the business as usual in our county and one of the ways we are doing that is by getting into the game. Raising funds is the challenge our party has faced for years. Clay County Republican Central Committee has increased the financial level, but we need to keep increasing so we can participate and support financially in the local level elections to the federal elections. We should never consider any year as an “off year.”
Our County is a home for ALL our candidates even in non-partisan elections. If we can bring an additional 3% more Republicans to the polls, our efforts may well be the difference between victory and defeat for our conservative candidates up and down the ballot. Your support is essential to make success a reality.
